The sacred nuptials of Shuda and Seleen

Post by Lt. Seleen Darkite on Mon Oct 12, 2009 12:04 am

11:30 am. October 15th. 12 hours 'til the wedding.

Seleen headed out to the garden. She was ringing her fingers and then wiping her hands on her jeans. To say that she was nervous would be an understatement. In just over twelve hours, she would become Mrs. Shuda Darkite. She made her way out to the waterfalls. She double checked the spacing of each and every seat. She made sure that they were covered with the sheets to keep anything off of them. Wouldn't do to have bird droppings on the seats.

She made her way over to the waterfall itself. There was a wooden bridge that lead out to a floating platform. There was a lovely archway that framed the falls. There was enough room on the platform for the bride, the groom, the one who will perform the ceremony, the matron of honor, the bridesmaid, the best man, and the groomsman. But that was it. Nothing more was needed. The bridge had a bit of an arch to it and was wide enough for two with ease.

Her heels clicked on the wooden bridge and the platform. She walked from side to side wanting to make sure that it wasn't going to tip over It wouldn't do for it to spill the wedding party into the water. It seemed to be extremely stable. Venis was wonderful. She knelt down near the edge of the platform and bent over. The sleeve of her long sleeved cotton shirt got a little wet as she ran her hand through the water. It was cold, but not freezing, which made her smile.

She sat there watching the autumn leaves falling upon the water and the ripples that they produced. she let her perfectly manicured fingers run through the water causing their own ripples as she drifted away in deep thought. She didn't think much would change with being married. They already lived together and shared everything. It was like they were already married. She smiled as she took some time to enjoy the beauty of nature and daydream for a moment.

12 pm. October 15th. 11 hours and 30 minutes 'til the wedding.

Re: The sacred nuptials of Shuda and Seleen

Inion couldn't help but to sneak a peck a tthe wedding preparations. During her wonderings she had seen people coming and going with all the wedding things. She moved quietly not wanting to get in the way of anyone if there was anyone there, and sure enough there was someone. To her surprise it was the bride herself, she looked deep in thought and Inion didn't want to startle her but she also didn't want to invade on her quiet time. Moving out from the trees she made enough noise to be heard, she waved to Seleen "hello lovely lady, are you taking some quiet time before the choas begins?"

Seleen looked up from her daydreaming and smiled. "Inion!" The smell of chocolate covered bananas in the air should have given her away, but maybe Sel as upwind. She got up off of her knees and ran towards her, crossing the bridge to the dry land. She opened her arms to give her a big hug. There was going to be a lot of hugging today, Seleen was a bit emotional.

Inion returned the hug just as tightly. "you look like a beautiful bride to be my dear. You double checking on things I see. Anything missing you wish was here, cause I might be able to help with that.?"

Seleen released her from the hug and had a huge smile. "You must be a mind reader today sweety. My favorite flower is missing from this picture perfect scene. The Queen of the Night Orchid." They were so special to her. And they had become even more special since that magical night.

She took Inion's hand and walked her over to some chairs so she could tell her all about it. "I was out in the garden at the other Inn the night of the full moon one year ago tonight. I smelt the flower in the air and went looking for it. That was when I tripped and landed on Shuda. It was destiny."

She smiled as she looked out at the waterfall. "I was so upset about not getting to get married there, but then Shuda made this place special too. Only, my flower doesn't grow here." Her smiled faded for a moment. She looked back at Inion and her smile returned. She was happy to be getting married.

She fidgeted with her engagement ring for a moment, the one Shuda had gotten custom made for her with it's trillion cut diamond that looked red and blue. "I found a florist who had some silk ones for my bouquet and the flower arrangements, but they lack the scent." She smiled and quit playing with her ring.

Inion sat in one of the chairs and listened to Seleen even giggled when she thought of her tripping over Shuda while in search of the flower. "So no one around here can find you the flower, I thought for sure that there would be someone who wouold grew such a rare beauty just for the challenge of it. Well my dear I would say you are in luck I happen to kow someone at home that not only grows them she has taken it to the extreme and thats all she grows in her green house." she gave her a bright smile, "so how many would you like and do you want cut ones or whole plants or maybe both?" Inion had goten so excited, she had been having trouble thinking of what to get Seleen for the wedding and this would be perfect , the chance to add the last perfect detail.

Post by Lt. Seleen Darkite on Mon Oct 12, 2009 2:24 am

Seleen's eyes lit up like a Christmas Tree. Inion had said the magic words. "They must be nocturnal." She chuckled as she looked around the area. Where could she put them so they wouldn't overpower the other fragrances of the area.

She got up from the chair and moved over to the waters edge. "Some live ones planted here and here would be lovely." She smiled as she moved back to picture it in her mind. She motioned to the sides of the pool at the base of the falls.

She looked around some more. There were already silk ones wrapped around the archway that they were going to stand in front of. "Maybe two on each side, and them maybe two or three more outside of the seating area on each side."

She would love the hint of scent when they bloomed during the ceremony. "Away from the seats though." She smiled again as she pointed to the sides of the seating area. Those few would give off just enough of the beautiful scent.

Then she went back over and sat down with Inion. "But the wedding is tonight, can they be here in time?" She had one more small favor. "And I would love to have a window box with them in it." She hoped she wasn't asking too much.

She thought it would be great to have the flowers with her where ever she went. She knew Venis could give them eternal life. She could have two of her loves with her forever, Shuda and her favorite flowers. What could be more perfect?

Inion sat quietly as Seleen moved around and worked out in her head where she would like the flowers. She let her figure it all out and when Seleen returned to the chair by Inion laughed softly and gave her a quick hug. "Oh my dear you don't have to worry I just ahve to go back to my room and get my delivery boy to go get them. I can have them here within a couple of hours, might take her longer to get them packed then them to be deliveried."

Seleen squealed with joy. "I can't wait to tell Shuda. He's going to be so happy. I'm sure the scent of them brings him a happy memory as well." She had never been so happy to be getting flowers in her entire life. She could hardly contain her excitement. She felt like she was about to burst.

She gave Inion another hug. She had to do something, she was ready to jump up from the chair and run around the gardens at top speed. She was that happy about the flowers. "You're the best Inion." She knew now, that her wedding was going to be absolutely perfect. She was so happy.

Laughter filled the air as Inion stood "maybe not the best but I try to make dreams come true my dear. You have lots to do my dear and I will head to the cottage and start making the arriangments to get the flowers here. Don't want them to be late." Her smile twinkled in her eyes as she was glad she could help a friend and have something to do.

Seleen's laughter was part of that laughter that was filling the air. She was so happy. She stood back up when Inion did. "I am so happy to have you for a friend Inion." She gave her yet another hug before she let her go.

When Inion left Seleen looked around. Other than the flowers that Inion was on her way to get, the place was perfect. Inion had said that they would arrive in a few hours. It was twelve forty-five, there was plenty of time.

So Seleen headed back to the house. Inion was taking care of the last little detail, and she would come back out to help plant them if she could get away with it. So there was nothing left to do but go take a small nap.

12:45 pm. October 15th. 10 hours and 45 minutes 'till the wedding.

Sel would find Cas on her doorstep with a large garment bag. Cas had finished the final adjustments on the dress and was here to deliver it. She was sitting in a chair in the front her cloak wrapped tightly around her.

She saw Sel coming up the walk way and stood up with a smile.

"I know it is your wedding day; but I have been waiting here for hours."

She was of course joking, she had only been here about five minutes.

Seleen laughed as she opened the door. "Come on in. I wonder where Shuda is if he wasn't here to invite you in." She pulled a coat rack out that was weighted, Venis had lent it to her to hang her gown on. She headed over to the coat closet and pulled out two garment bags. "I picked up Venis and Tasha's dresses earlier." She smiled as she added them to the rack.

She motioned for Casie to have a seat. "I was going to take a nap before the wedding, we have a spare room." She sat down herself. She knew that Casie wasn't used to being up all night and she was more than welcome to take a nap as well. She didn't want her to be too tired during the wedding. "When are the kids coming over?" She knew they would be at the wedding too.

Cas just smiled at Sel in response. She sat down and watched as Sel pulled out the weighted rack.

"I can't wait to see them. My dress is with Rider. Kjay took off to explore as soon as I sat down to wait for you."

She leaned back in the chair it was actually very comfortable.

"Ivan is going to pick them, Iluvenis, and Jeorge's children up after they get out of school and bring them here, we got the school to excuse them from classes tomorrow."

She tried to hide a yawn.

"Actually a nap would be great, I have been awake since three making sure I had not forgotten anything.

She stood from her chair and let Sel show her to the spare room. When she was alone she undressed and laid down in the bed. She would sleep until someone came to wake her.

Re: The sacred nuptials of Shuda and Seleen

Post by Employees of the Goddess on Thu Oct 15, 2009 11:09 pm

The men were the first to arrive for the wedding ceremony. It made sense for them to be, because they were ushers. They all matched perfectly in their black tuxedos with red bow ties and red cummerbunds.

Ivan had picked up all the kids after school, so Jorge's kids were with his wife Olivia, and Jason was working. Jorge escorted his wife to a seat on the groom's side. Jason escorted Gabriella and Juan and Noe simply walked with them all. Juan went with a darker shade of red than his older brother Noe when it came to their ties and vests.

Bo chose to escort his wife Alyssa to sit on the brides side. They wanted to try to keep a balance, which was kinda hard to do as most people knew Seleen better. But the pair had been inseparable for the last year, so everyone knew Shuda as well.

Derek also chose to seat his wife Karen on the brides side. He thought it would be more balanced. The men were going to divide themselves up as evenly as they could.

Once the wives and children were seated, with room for the husbands of course, the men were all gathered at the back of the seats waiting for other guests to arrive so they could seat them. It was still a few hours before the wedding, but they knew that some people wanted to arrive earlier than others.

Re: The sacred nuptials of Shuda and Seleen

Post by Airtia S. Cauthon on Thu Oct 15, 2009 11:32 pm

Back at the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn Airtia and Gawain were getting ready to make an appearance at Seleen and Shuda's wedding. It was true that Air didn't know Seleen well - Gawain knew her more - and because of that they decided to go. To say hi to Venis and Kahn if nothing else. They would not be going alone, if Airtia was going she was going to take Azlin with her, Gawain tagging along to make sure that they behaved. Ridiculous, Air and Az always behaved in their own way. Air had put on the finishing touches on her attire, a double breasted black suit with a red vest with silver buttons. She traded in her sword tonight and simply wore the twin daggers on either hip under the suits jacket. Gawain had tried to get her to wear a dress but she flat out told him that she was Azlin's date. Gawain was in a tux and had even trimmed up his hair a bit. After what happened on the Cliffside he hadn't really been himself so this was his first social appearance. It had her slightly concerned for she felt the muted aggravation in his composure. Perhaps they wouldn't stay too long. Gawain's temperament had changed but he knew how to put on a good show and said that he would be fine. Once he was set they left out of their room and headed to Azlin's, Airtia holding a closed box in her hand. One more thing, her Auburn hair was tied back from her face.

Azlin had been a busy little bee, after getting the invite to the wedding, she had made sure to arrange to go with Airtia and Gawain. If she was going to be going to a wedding she was going to do it in style, and that meant she had a date with the salon in Rhy'Din. She went and got herself pampered. Toes all polished in silver with a tip of red, her finger nails were painted red with tips of black on the ends in a french manicure. Her long curly blonde locks were pulled up in a french twist, with curly wisps free hanging about her face, and a few upon her neck. Her dress was sparkly red, not overly glitzy, just a hint of sparkle. It hugged her shape, of course, had no sleeves and fell about two inches above her knees and cinched at the waist. The real shocker of the outfit would be the red shoes upon her feet, heels at that, with open toes to show off her toes! She was unsure if they were suppose to meet at who's room, so it would be Azlin opening the door, blinking at the sight of Gawain and Airtia. The smile on her face warm as baby blues landed upon the two of them. "Tia! Gawain....what a surprise to find you both here." There was a bit of a playful tone in her voice.

"Azlin my darling, ye look wonderful." Airtia said with a smile when Azlin opened the door. For one, she was in Airtia's favorite color, for another, she always thought her friend was pretty. If Airtia had been male instead of female... "Kinky Air, but not tonight," Gawain gave a very soft and light laugh from behind his wife. He knew what she was thinking due to their bond and he had to say something about it. Airtia turned her eyes from Azlin to give Gawain a grin before she looked to Azlin again giving a dismissive wave with her free hand. "Do nae listen tae him. Here, I ave something fer ye tae wear. Would go lovely with yer dress." Offering out the box for Azlin to take.

She would beam just a little bit at Airtia's compliment. Wearing Airtia's favorite color was part of the deal! It was how it went, and she would in turn return the compliment, "And you look delightful!" It was actually a good thing from Azlin, if she said you looked dull or boring that was not a good thing. Yes well...there was the one time...and she would laugh. She did not have to know what was going on between Gawain and Air, it was just funny to hear that. She reached out for the box when Airtia held it out. "Oh! Something to wear?" She would open the box, without to much of a care of something going to attack her. Though she had a feeling if one was on Air's bad side they wouldn't want to just do that. And she looked inside to see what was in.

Gawain moved to the opposite side of the doorway, tugging at his tie as he did and mumbling under his breath. Seeing Azlin open the box he tipped her head at her and took his hands from the tie, it was looser now and he could deal with it better. "I picked it out." Said with an air of satisfaction. "Aye.....indeed he did. " Air had no problem in letting Gawain have that moment. She wasn't good at picking out 'feminine' items whereas he knew what would look nice. It worked out. Inside the box was a thick silver bracelet that snapped to the arm, a red rose made from metal in the middle and going through the rose was a dagger. All part of the design of course, though it wouldn't be far fetched to think that Air would put a real weapon in a bracelet. "Tis tradition tae bring something fer yer date."

Az was aware of the shifting of Gawain, but it did not make her nervous, where as for some it might. She would lift the bracelet out of the box, carefully holding it up with one hand, and admiring it. She smiled, first to Airtia then to Gawain, and back again. "Thank you! Tis a lovely bracelet." And it did not take long for it to get positioned on her left wrist, her right hand came up to attach the fastener. Her right hand fell down, and she lifted her left upwards to look at the bracelet, admiring. "Gawain you have great taste." She looked to the two of them, "You know you can tell how Airtia did not pick it out?" She did not really give them time to answer, "Tis not a real removable dagger." She was grinning. Then she took a bit of a breath, "I don't recall the last wedding I have been too."

That made both Airtia and Gawain laugh. Airtia spread her hands out as her laughter calmed down . "I wanted tae get it replaced with a real one but he would nae hear o' it." Gawain gruffed. "I can't risk you making real jabs at me for fun. You're welcome." He tried to make a joke. Now that the giving part was over he moved off to the door and offered an arm to each lady. "Ages since I've been to one Azlin." Airtia smiled. "Same here. The last one might 'ave been Fallons..." she had to think about that for she still wasn't sure if that was the last or not. She didn't take Gawain's arm but instead patted him on the back and offered her arm to Azlin. "Yer in charge o the travel. Unless Azlin wants tae since she's been there?"

She grinned, "Awe Gawain, it would of only been iffen we got bored during the ceremony, to liven stuff up!" But then again she knew they were suppose to be on thier best behaviors, and as she had only a brief acquaintance with those tying the knot, she figured it was better not to cause to much of a wave. She smiled hearing them both, for that did make it a bit easier. She had not a clue whom the last one she was at, which heck could of been years and years ago. She had started to take Gawain's arm but it was easily switched up to Airtia's arm, hand moving to cup around the top of her arm. "I think we should let Gawain be in charge of the travel." She did not want Gawain to feel left out, and besides that let her ponder a bit.

That's good, letting him do something. He was feeling the need to do something and since his wife and her best friend were going to get all cozy together and he couldn't join, he needed to do something. "Be there in a second ladies." He watched Airtia pat Azlin on the hand and he turned to focus on what he was doing. He didn't need to focus much at all for things like gateways were childs play to him now, he even smirked as the silver line split the space in front of them. He made sure that where it opened on the other side wouldn't slice someone in half, though part of him did find that thought amusing. The other side of the opening was the outside corridor by the waterfall. They were in direct sight of where they were suppose to go for the wedding. All the seats in sight. "After you ladies." Airtia smiled and looked at Azlin. "A'ter ye."

Exactly! Azlin could understand how that was, because she used to hear from guys all the time that they felt unneeded when the girls got together and she didn't want to make Gawain feel that way! And yes she was thankful that he wasn't going to slice her in half that would of been one heck of a headache! And once it was ready to go, she smiled and slipped through, though she did not go to far with out Airtia for she had not let go of her arm! She wasn't taking the chance that she was going to get lost in some weird portal place, at least not by herself!!

And the three of them took their seats. On the bride’s side.

Re: The sacred nuptials of Shuda and Seleen

Post by Emilia on Fri Oct 16, 2009 2:28 am

Emilia had checked into the Inn, she took one of the small suites with a kitchenette and a closed off bedroom. While she waited for Iluvinis to get here from school she laid out all the clothes. She was a bit weary of her shoes because she normally did not ware heals unless she was in a shoot, but they matched her dress perfectly. She walked out onto the balcony and smiled as she looked over and saw her mothers small garden. She took a few minutes to try and meditate. It was going to be a long night she was going to need the focus.

She had not realized how much time had passed until she heard a knock at the door. She opened it and smiled at Ivan.

"Thanks love."

She then knelt and hugged her daughter tightly.

"Hello my little one."

Iluvenis hugged her back and smiled. "Do we have to wait long?" She was so excited, she had a pretty new dress and even had a gift for Selene and Shuda. "I have never been to a wedding, are they fun?" She was full of questions.

Emilia smiled as she stood and kissed Ivan on the cheek.

"I'll see you tonight."

Ivan nodded at her and returned a smile as he brushed his lips over her cheek lightly in return. "Save me a dance beautiful." He closed the door to her room. The twins were in the lobby and waiting to be taken to their mother. He took a deep breath, it had been a few months since he had seen Cas.

"You can have the first dance Ivan."

When the door was closed she turned back to Iluvenis.

"Yes we have a while to wait the wedding is very late at night; and yes they can be fun. Now I know you don't want to hear this but you need to take a nap, you will be up very late tonight."

Iluvenis looked at her mom and pouted but she went into the other room and was soon fast asleep, she was so excited the night before that she had not slept. She had trouble staying awake in her classes.

When Iluvenis lay down Emilia went to the couch and turned on the TV she watched different shows at random till it was nine. She took a shower and did her hair and makeup before she went in and woke Iluvinis up.

Iluvenis rubbed her eyes and stretched as she yawned. "Is it time?" She was already getting out of bed and going to her dress.

"Almost my little princess. Take a bath first and then come eat a sandwich."

She laughed as she watched her daughter run to the bathroom stripping off her clothes on the way. She picked them up and then went to the kitchenette and made two sandwiches. She ate hers while she waited for Iluvenis to finish.

Iluvenis took a bath as quickly as she could and than went to the table and almost wolfed down her sandwich. "Mommy, is Hopper here too?"

Em nodded. "He is with Kjay." She knew that answer would be enough to satisfy her. She than fixed her hair and finally let her put the dress on. Than she got into her own dress and put on the shoes and jewelery she picked out. After that they went out to the waterfall.

Isah was standing there by the back of the chairs and looked at Emilia as she walked up. Gods that woman was beautiful. In fact all the employees glanced her way. Isah held his arm out to Emilia and then held out his hand to Iluvenis. "May I have the honor of escorting two beautiful ladies to their seats?"

Iluvenis was looking at everything eyes wide. She ran up to Isha giggling as she took his hand. "Hello Mr Isah, I get to stay up late tonight."

Emilia took Isah's arm.

"Hello love, you look very dashing tonight."

Isah smiled at Iluvenis. "Well it is a special occasion. I am happy to see you." When Emilia took his arm he looked at her and kissed her cheek. "And you look beautiful as always."

Emilia smiled.

"Thank you Isah, I am going to sit on the grooms side tonight."

She let Isah seat her and Iluvenis and watched as he went back to his position prepared to seat any other guests that arrived.

Madeline had decided to get ready at the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn, and then head to meet Andrew at the ceremony. She did so want to surprise him with her new dress and necklace.

She checked her appearance one more time in the mirror. The dress was stunning, Burgundy was one of her favorites colors, and she hoped Andrew would like it. She loved weddings, always made her feel romantic. She peeked inside, and saw her Dad, and Airtia, and someone who she didn't know off hand sitting with them. She decided to wait on Andrew before she went to greet them.

Madeline didn't have to wait long, because Andrew walked up to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"You look beautiful as always Madeline. Now may I escort you to your seat?"[i]

Madeline blushed at the attention. She loved the way Andrew looked at her. She gave Andrew a flirtatious smile." Yes Sir I would like to sit with my father, and Mom. Maddie pointed to Gawain and Air.

Andrew led her to her seat, kissed her on the cheek, and left to usher in more guest.

She took a seat beside Airtia. "Hello Airtia, Dad." She still didn't know who their friend was. Looking at Azlin, she smiled. "Hello, how are you?"

When Kyra got the invitation to the wedding she thought long and hard about it before deciding to go for it and get out for a bit. She locked herself in the cottage for far to long now and needed to be around people. Maddie had gotten word to her and they agreed to meet at the wedding. Kyra took the dress out of the bag and put it on looking in a mirror to make sure it still fit perfectly before putting on the open toed shoes that went perfectly with it. After putting up her hair and putting on some makeup and perfume she pulled out two boxes that she bought a while back and placed on the diamond necklace and matching ear drops. Once she was ready Kyra made her way to inn that the wedding was going to be held. Looking around with a smile on her face she spotted Maddie but waited before going over to sit next to her. Kyra wanted to see who else was there first.

(To give everyone a visual everthing including the hair do, jewelry, shoes and dress is how Kyra is done up =). Here is the link to the picture of the dress http://www.bridalonlinestore.com/collection/displayimage.asp?image=t005-icepink.jpg )

Re: The sacred nuptials of Shuda and Seleen

Gwen was sitting in the room nearly in tears. She was looking at the dress, she knew it was the wedding colors but weddings were a time to be happy and joyous. She associated black with funerals and death; a time of mourning. She was very confused about this. She also didn't know how to dance and that was bothering her to. She had meant to ask Manny to show her how; but she had been so busy, his birthday, her trip home....

Silent tears fell and she didn't even hear when Manny came in to get ready.

Manny came in intending to surprise Gwen; he had a necklace for her to wear with the gown she had picked. He saw her sitting on the edge of the bed in tears. He walked over to her and sat down as he wrapped his arms around her."What's wrong Angel."

She looked at him and wrapped her arms around him. She buried her head in his chest and cried. After a couple of minutes. She looked up at him.

"I can't dance and I am wearing black to a wedding."

Manny smiled at her; what he really wanted to do was laugh. He held that in though, his Angel was really upset about all this, and while he may have thought it was minor, to her it was a huge deal. He ran his hand through her hair and kissed away what was left of her tears. "Angel, is that what is wrong? Shuda and Sel, they picked the colors. This is what they want, as for dancing I have that under control. Don't worry, you will be the most beautiful woman there. You beauty would shine even if you wore a burlap bag."

Gwen looked up and smiled at him as she brushed her lips softly over his.

"Thank you Manny."

She looked back over at the dress and smiled.

"It is only for one night, and if it will make them happy I will wear it."

She stood up and headed to the bathroom. She knew Manny would follow her. She started the shower so she could get ready.

Manny watched her as she headed to the bathroom and then followed her. He must have done something right in the grand plan of things for Gwendolan to love him. They showered and then began to get ready.

Gwen was sitting in a chair brushing out her hair. She pulled it back into a pony tail that she looped in on itself and pulled through it hid the holder. than she sectioned it into three pieces and braided each one of them before pulling them them up and pinning them with the holder hidden by her hair. Sel had shown her how to do it, she hoped it was right.

Manny dressed in the new tux but it had a red cumber bun and bow tie. He was dressed the same as all the other employees. He was ready to go before Gwen had even finished her hair, so he just watched her in silence.

Gwen walked over to her dress and put it on.

"Manny can you help me with the fastenings? They are in the back."

Manny walked over to her and kissed her shoulder as he zipped her up."You look beautiful, but you are missing something." He took the necklace from the box on the nightstand and placed it around her neck.

"Thank you Manny. This is beautiful."

She put her hand to the necklace before tucking it in Manny's arm. She let him escort her to the waterfall. The other employees all waved at them as Manny led Gwen to a seat on the bride's side. It was almost time for the wedding.

Re: The sacred nuptials of Shuda and Seleen

Post by Inion on Sat Oct 17, 2009 12:14 am

Inion made sure the flowers where delivered and in place before returning to the cottage again. This time it was to get everyone ready for the wedding. With 5 females in one house to get dresseed and ready it could be organized choas in the cottage. They had chosen to dress in traditional fairy clothes, even Juliet wore a fairy outfit, she may not have wings but she was now officailly part of the clan. Though they could have used magic to get ready they actually enjoyed getting dolled up they human way

Inion was the first to be ready her outfit of course was in varying shades of purple and just what is the traditional fairy dress, well that would a long deep purple silk scarf wrapped across her chest, pulled back to the front to cross her breast and tied at the back of her neck tighly so everything stays in place. Her skirt was several silk scarves in varing shades of purple, stitched at the top and hanging free to the ground. Around her neck was a several strand pearl and amethyst choker that on the last strand hung a amethyst heart. This necklace she wore very rarely it was something that Aryanna's father had given her so long ago. She let her hair hang free in its long curls.

The other girls were finally finished getting ready. Their outfits were similair to Inion's except for Fia, Ary, and Juliet wore shades of green and Shay wore shades of blue. The girls even dressed up Dia in a silk pink bow and Croga wore an amethyst jeweled collar to match Inion.

They made their way to the waterfall wings fluttering and lots of giggling. When they arrived there was a pause, and Fia spoke up first "so many handsome men to chose from, hmmmmmmm" she winked and Joseph and too his arm. Inion laughed "well I guess Fia has chosen fo rus." she did give Juliet a nudge toward Jason, "though I think Juliet would like chance to sit by Jason" This of course made Juliet blush, but she did take Jason by the arm. Inion gave Shamus a wink as they passed him as an offer to sit with them if he wished.

They were seated and Juliet gave Jason's hand a squeeze before he left to return to the others and of course Fia gave Joseph a pinch before he left.

Re: The sacred nuptials of Shuda and Seleen

Post by Lt. Seleen Darkite on Sat Oct 17, 2009 3:21 am

Seleen awoke to a knock upon the door, alarms never woke her. She slid out of bed and grabbed her robe. On her way to the door she knocked on the door to the spare room where Casie lay sleeping. "Casie, time to get up sweety." She headed to the door to answer it. She made sure he robe was closed well, just in case.

She was very happy when she opened the door and saw Venis and Tasha standing there. "Yay, time to get ready. How's the head Tash?" She stepped back to let them in. she watched Tasha to see if there were any signs of a hangover. They had all tipped back more than a few the night before at the bachelorette party.

Casie woke up to find a robe laying across the foot of the bed for her to put on. She slid it on and left the room. She was a little surprised to see the garment bag that held her dress, hanging with the others. Kjay and Hopper were laying on the couch sleeping. She smiled as she walked over to pet and scratch them both.

Tasha chuckled as she entered the room. She had tipped back more than most. But it was all good, her superhuman metabolism took care of it for her over night. Ha'Ruil had helped her sweat it out. "I'm good. I hope Gwendolan's ok. She seemed to be ok with it." She was, of course, referring to Eros being the stripper.

Venis walked in behind Tasha, she was smiling too. The obvious reason was that her hubby had gotten in just in time for the rehearsal dinner. Her 'house guest' had no problems relocating to the spare room for a night. And the fact that he came to the bachelorette party long enough to strip for them was a nice bonus as well.

She chuckled at the memory of the night before, memories. The rehearsal dinner, the party, Kahn, yea, good times were definitely had by the Goddess. "I'm sure that Eros was a lot easier for her to see than that pizza at the rehearsal dinner. I loved it though. Body parts, great topping choice Sel. Hi Cas." She smiled at her friend.

Casie looked up at Venis and Tasha and smiled.

"Hello ladies. Yea, that pizza was disgusting. I'm so glad that there was regular pizza there for us humans, er well, not undead."

She wrinkled her nose about the pizza. She tilted her head slightly after that, she was suddenly curious about something. Were her kids here now too?

Seleen laughed as she answered Casie's question before she could ask it. She went over and woke the kids from their naps so they could get ready too. "Yea, but the cake that we had for dessert. Wasn't it beautiful? I knew I had made the right choice for preparing food and cakes." She went to go find the cake topper from it.

Once she found the topper she put it away on a glass shelf in the curio cabinet. "There we go, that looks perfect." She smiled as she looked at it before she turned to talk to the girls. "Ok ladies, who's first? I get to go last, I can't risk getting anything on my dress." She grinned as she headed over to get the dresses out.

Casie got out Natalie's dress and DJ's tux and sent them into separate rooms to get ready. At their age, they should be able to dress themselves with little to no help. Though she suspected that DJ might need some help with his tie and maybe Nat would have to get zipped. But other than that, she suspected they would be fine.

She walked over and picked up her own dress.

"I should go first. That way I'm ready when you guys get your gowns on and can make any alterations and then get the kids to their seats."

It made sense to her so she started to put on her dress. It wasn't a big deal to her to get dressed in front of these women, been there.

Venis smiled as she walked over to help Casie with her dress. She would hate for her to have torn it or something while trying to get it on. "You sure about the heel's?" She was always trying to get Casie into heels and she wouldn't hear of it. But Venis knew she would get her to come around someday and wear them once.

Casie didn't even bother to grace that with a response. She simply looked over her shoulder at Venis and gave her 'that look'. Once Venis had her zipper up she walked over to her bag and got out her hair brush. She began to run it through her hair. While she did Nat came out to get zipped up. Followed by DJ wanting his tie tied.

She chuckled as she put her brush down to help them.

"There you go Nat. Ok, you're all done DJ. Now, you kids go wait outside and I'll be out shortly, please don't get dirty."

She went to grab up her brush again, but Seleen had it in her hands already. She chuckled softly as she sat down in a chair for Seleen to do her hair.

When the kids got outside, they would find Leviathan laying out there. She was wearing a red leather collar and was brushed so she was very shiny. She popped her head up when she heard the door. When she saw the kids she stood up and let her tail twitch back and forth. She was very happy to see them, Kjay and Hopper wouldn't be far behind. She rubbed against their hands with her head and waited.

Seleen started to fix Casie's hair for her. Her dress was a halter, so she brushed her hair so that it could stay down. She used a hot iron with a large barrel to give the front some lift and to fan out he sides. The heat should have held it without spray for the night. Some shorter hairs she let fall on her forehead like bangs.

Then she got her make up cases out. She added some loose powder to her eyelids to give them a hint of shimmer, but not too much. It was just a shade darker than her face to look natural. A thin line of green eyeliner to bring out her eyes and her dress, black mascara and some slightly pink gloss to her lips, all done.

While Seleen was pampering Casie, Tasha put her dress on. It was a bit of a tight fit given it was designed for Asian women. But the dress shop had done excellent in making it for her curves. She smiled and smoothed the silk down. She was actually quite impressed with their work. She was glad Casie had recommended them.

Venis slipped into her dress as well. Hers was a tight fit too, but then again, when you work from a pattern that was designed for women who are of a different culture, it is sometimes hard to make it work right. But the dress shop that Casie had sent them to was amazing. They had done a great job making the dresses look right.

Tasha looked at herself as she slipped into her shoes. "Casie, can you help me close this some, I think I know the problem, but I can't undo it." She knew it was supposed to be more closed than it was. Not that she minded the cleavage, but she didn't want to tear the dress either. The swelling just couldn't be helped.

Casie let Seleen fix her hair and make-up then smiled and kissed her cheek. Then she went to help Tasha close her dress.

"You were a little smaller when you were fitted for the dress Tash. It's those piercings. I can't believe you got that done. I wouldn't be able to do something like that."

She shook her head and chuckled.

Tasha just giggled, Casie only wore one pair in her ears. "Oh sure you could Cas." She liked them, so did Ha'Ruil, so they were definitely staying. But now her dress was in place and so she got to work brushing out her hair, her make-up was already done. She figured she would wear her hair down, it kinda looked like Casie's.

Venis, on the other hand, had to cheat with her hair. It was still too long, dragging the ground almost two feet behind her, she definitely needed a cut. So for the wedding she opted for a look made famous by an old TV show from Earth. It was called 'I Dream of Jeanie'. Her hair magically twisted atop her head and hung down.

Now it was time for Sel to get her gown on. There was some tulle under it to make it poof slightly, and she didn't want to tear it, so Venis lifted her into the dress. Then they pulled it up and Tasha helped her get her arms in the sleeves so she wouldn't catch her nail, while Casie zipped her up. It was a perfect, beautiful fit.

Casie looked over the gown and checked every detail. Everything was perfectly in place and fit perfectly over the lingerie that Seleen wore under it.

"Well ladies, it seems my work is done here. You all look very lovely."

She smiled as she hugged the girls and headed out to go get seated with the kids. It would be time soon.

They started to get things together like bouquets and such. And while they did that, Seleen got out the gifts she had for both Venis and Tasha. She let the girls open them and smiled as she tied Shuda's ring to Venis' bouquet. She hoped they like them. It was always so hard to shop for the entourage, they had everything.

Venis' eyes lit up when she saw her gift. She was so taken aback by it. She thought that the clock would look magnificent on her desk, and it was even engraved. "Oh Sel." She rushed over to hug her friend as she tried to fight back the tears. It was so thoughtful of her. She looked at it again with a huge smile, she loved it.

Tasha loved her gift as well. Her feet took a lot of abuse from heels and being turned into paws at least once a month. A foot care gift set would definitely come in handy. "Oh Seleen, thank you so much." It was so sweet of Seleen to get her something, and she had chose something perfect. She gave her a big hug for the gift.

Well, they were all dolled up and ready to go. One last check of the time, it was eleven twenty-five when they finished. People had been getting seated while they were getting ready, it was five minutes until the ceremony. Seleen could barely contain her excitement. They waited for the music that came from nowhere to start.

Seeing more people arrive Kyra made her way over to Maddie seeing a three open seats she took one of them hoping she was taking someone's seat but she didn't know who else to sit next to and prayed there wasn't assigned seats. Sitting there quietly still looking around not sure if she was looking for someone or just at everything because it was so beautiful.

Late as usual, Danni's car skid into the driveway of the Starry Myst Inn. She had followed Venis' instructions and ended up taking a wrong portal when her car wouldn't fit through the one she was supposed to take. But she was a woman, so she could stop and ask for directions. So she was running late, but she had made it in time for the wedding at least. After all, Rhy'Din time it was only 10:30 pm.

She had taken a nap when she was in a dimension where time was suspended and everything seemed to be floating. They called it a pause dimension, but she had to take it to get her car through to Rhy'Din. But all that mattered was she was here in time for her old friend Seleen to get married. Danni didn't even know she had been dating someone.

As she got out of the car she took off her driving boots and hopped along slipping her heels on. She was already in her dress, she changed at a gas station in the ladies room. She had no hair to style per se, but she did run a brush through it. Slipping the brush back into her hand bag she pulled out her earrings. She did stop running long enough to put them in. Which is what reminded her to set the alarm on her car.

Then she was off and running again. She had to be there in time. it took her a bit of time to get to the waterfalls, the smell of those Orchids helped her know she was headed in the right direction. The sounds of the waterfall helped too. Then she saw all those sexy men standing there in their tuxedos. She stopped running ad straightened her dress. Then she walked over to the men and smiled charmingly. "Hello Gentlemen, could someone please seat me on the brides side?" She waited to see who offered their arm.

There was a guy with long dark hair pulled back in a ponytail at the nape of his neck, he said his name was Keven. He offered her his arm and walked her to the seats on the left. She smiled as she scooted in to sit in the middle of the empty row. She arched an eyebrow as she watched him walk back to the men at the back. She had made it, she was on time for her best friends wedding.
